Why Collagen is important for your joints?

Collagen is an important part of your muscles and one reason you see muscle mass decreasing as you get older is that collagen decreases. Researchers found that when a post workout collagen supplement was taken they built more muscle than those that exercised a received a placebo. These athletes were given collagen supplements or a placebo for six months whilst they trained and competed.
